CREATIVE TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY

Do you wish you could create images from your travels both near & far that really told a story?

In this work shop we will explore how to do just that. Including: Creative composition, Use of available light, What focal length and lens to use in which situation, Shooting in a documentary style and Common problems & solutions while on the road.
This class is for anyone who wants to take better travel photo's, including both point and shoot compact and DSLR users. 


PHOTOGRAPHING CHILDREN  


Do you wish you could capture more of those fun moments in your child or grandchild's lives?

In this 4 hour workshop you will learn how to get those cute candid action shots, as well as how to take a natural child portrait worthy of framing. This workshop will be focused on giving you the knowledge and confidence to take better photographs of the children in your lives and preserve those memories forever! This workshop is designed with a Digital SLR user in mind, however if you have a more advance point & shoot with manual overrides, you too will gain a lot of good knowledge from this. 



Getting to Know Your Digital Camera Level 1

Learn the basics of digital photography and gain a better understanding of your camera.

This course is suited to both compact and D-SLR camera owners.

Getting to Know your Digital Camera Level 2

Getting Creative!!

Beyond the basics, this will go more in depth into your cameras manual and semi manual modes.

You will learn about aperture & shutter speed controls as well

as exposure compensation & flash control.

This course is suited for D-SLR users or compact cameras with manual over-rides.

Course Level 1 or a good understanding of digital photography

and knowledge of your camera is a prerequisite for this course.


 Level 3...Playing with Light

If you have a good understanding of your camera and are ready to learn more about light, this workshop is for you. Learn how changes in shutter speed affect the light in your image from soft motion to a dramatic contrast of a higher speed. Explore use of different ISO's to control and enhance your photos. Find out how & when to add the use of flash to the mix to create a perfect balance. *Please bring to class: camera, fully charged battery, memory card, and camera manual. If available, but not necessary. Level 3 should also bring any accessory lens/lenses , hot shoe mount flash and tripod
